As lovers of hiking and photographing places our walks and photos on this website. During the walks, the route is stored in our GPS (Garmin Oregon 300). This way you can enjoy the lovely walks we make.

The website is currently day hikes in the Netherlands and Mallorca . Most day walks are provided with an informative text, photos, elevation profiles and GPS route.

In France we have the long-distance hike GR 70 Chemin de Stevenson (250 km) run. From this you will find an introduction of the route, the biography of RL Stevenson, a property list, the best travel period, facilities en route, photographs and stages with a description , elevation profiles and GPS data.

For 2010 we have next day hikes in the Netherlands a new long distance walk on the program, namely the Austrian Wolfsthal of St. James to Feldkirch (810 km).

Once again a walk run, is on the website, so keep an eye on the site regularly for more beautiful walks.

Many hiking luck!

Marco and Esther

Starting Point provides car parked and walk, the route we have just given way. We saw a nice path, then we went there. The first part is about a bike and walking paths, but after passing a dilapidated radio with single radio masts are we going to Bovenbos Koot Wijker. The path winds through the woods, we come here with an open area, but soon the trail goes back further into the forest. A small piece of the tour makes a bridle. Through the card in the GPS, we determine our direction to Radio Kootwijk. We arrive at a road show at the end of the driveway Radio Kootwijk lie. What strikes me is the space around and striking forms of the former transmitter for telegraphy. Through the vast space was an appropriate place to be broadcast around the world. Today's State Forest owner and they want Radio Kootwijk a reallocation give a vision in which space is central. After about 1 kilometer on the bike path run to have, where we enjoy the panoramic views, we the forest road that along the satellite observatory is . Unfortunately there is little to see. From the forest brings us to the right and see the sandy heathland already are. We stay only a little skirt, but decide halfway through the sand to stabbing. The wind has free play in this open area and feels as fresh. On the other side we dive into the forest and walk back to the car. There are so many trails in this area that you walk through this varied woodland, heathland and sand can easily shorten or extend. We have enjoyed and we hope that you will do.

FYI: No-trade route, starting and parking also available at Radio Kootwijk.

Criss-crossing the Weerter and Budelerbergen. The area consists of pine forests, heather and drifting sand. The route varies with forest dirt roads. Occasionally a climb in the sand. You notice that the walk on sandy paths more tiring than on roads. Plenty of peace and quiet, although the area is sometimes used for military exercises. Along the relatively new-looking track, freight only, you see left and right still old camouflage nets. Shoot a deer or deer on the track. Meanwhile, we see and hear a sports aircraft that take off and land exercises on the nearby Kempen Airport. The route goes through part of Limburg and North Brabant and it starts at the output (for walkers) of the bungalow Roompot Weerterbergen.
